Sigourney Weaver

I am in love with Sigourney Weaver although I can't decide if I like her more as Ellen Ripley in Alien(s) or as Dana Barrett in Ghostbusters. On balance, I think she looks better in Ghostbusters while also having a better apartment.

Body Building Shampoo

Had my haircut on Saturday at Salon 496 in Dalston. The John Masters shampoo used prior to the cut contains 'body building properties'. It may have just been my imagination but by the time I left the salon, I was definitely looking more vascular and my lower calf definition had gone through the roof.

Considered buying a gilet (but didn't)

According to Wikipedia, a gilet is 'a sleveless jacket resembling a waistcoat or blouse.' 2011 Government statistics suggest that 97% of all UK gilets are worn in the Notting Hill area of West London, while a recent front-page leader in The Guardian reported that 1% of the world's population control approximately 80% of the gilets. This is unfair.

Steve at Flex Maniacs

Had a workout this morning with my personal trainer Steve at Flex Maniacs, a new gym that nobody knows about yet and where I am a founder member. Steve kept going on about interval training and trying to integrate more bodyweight resistance exercises into my routine but he doesn't know that I've secretly been having PT sessions with his colleague Helmut who has a lower body fat % than him.

Met Tim at Zuma

Just met my friend Tim at Zuma. He is depressed because he got mugged on the Fulham Road two nights ago by a white guy wearing chinos and Tod's. Tim's now bare wrist with its triple-crown Rolex Daytona tan line suggests that the twice weekly Krav Maga lessons he is having at £90 per hour are not worth it. I want to emphathise with him but I am thinking about buying an Audi and this dulls my emotional response.
